Stop worrying about money

From the outside, it may seem like me, and others that like to talk about money, think about it all the time.

But it’s not actually the case.

can’t stop thinking about money

About 5 years ago when I was really struggling to keep up with my mortgage payments and living dollar to dollar in my ridiculously large house I was ALWAYS thinking about money.

  • Thinking where my next dollar was going to come from

  • Thinking how to get a pay rise

  • Thinking how to cut costs even further

  • Thinking what day pay day was

  • Thinking what would happen if I couldn’t manage to make mortgage payments

  • Constantly checking my bank account for the balance or to make sure my pay went through

It was always on my mind.

The irony has not been lost on me. The less I took care of my finances, the more I thought about money.

master your money for a free mind

Now that I am in a much better space I very rarely think about money.

Now I honestly don’t know when I get paid most of the time.

I have set up all my saving, spending and investing so that it is all running on auto pilot without giving it a second thought.

Although I am not yet financially independent in terms of my investments ability to cover my annual expenses, I am a long way towards there. And that is the beauty of taking care of your finances.

It allows you to focus on much more important things in life. Life is far too short to waste it worrying about money. So, get in control of your finances and start living life.
